This list is for discussion related to the formation of an IETF working group for the purpose of updating and extending the GSS-API specification (RFC2743 and related documents).
The IETF process is an open one, and this is an open mailing list. Anyone is welcome to participate. Attendance at IETF meetings is not required, and there are no membership qualifications or fees.
This list is not moderated. However, consistent with the Guidelines on spam control issued by the IESG, only messages from subscribers and other known senders are posted immediately. Messages from unknown sources are held for review by the list maintainer. Held messages are generally approved the next day, except for obvious spam and viruses.
Participants may add addresses to the list of approved senders by using the web-based subscription management interface. Simply subscribe the address to be authorized, and then set the "nomail" flag to prevent copies of mailing list messages from being sent to that address. If you need to send from an address for which you cannot receive mail, contact the mailing list administrator for assistance.
