We had a similar situation in our cell a month or so ago. I was getting
an error from a script that I run which dumps daily volume info into
a database for history tracking. The script was reporting an error on
reading the volume information for just one of the volumes. When I
did a vos exam on the volume it reported a negative disk space usage.
I did some initial poking around but ended up salvaging the volume which
corrected the problem. This happened two more times in the next few days,
but I haven't seen the problem since. I didn't have much time to try to
figure things out and never reported it to IBM/Transarc. Let me know if you
end up reporting this and I'll inform them we had the problem as well.
